The event Army on the Embankment, in the centre of Prague near the railway bridge, will take place on Tuesday 20 May 2025, presenting the most interesting of the Czech Army.
From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the public can look forward to flyovers of airplanes and helicopters, paratroopers jumping into the Vltava River and picking them up, or special forces rappelling onto the pontoon. There will be close combat, training of service dogs, a parade of military uniforms, a demonstration of the training of the Active Reserve Unit or an exhibition performance of the Honour Guard of the Czech Armed Forces. Aviation fans can try out the simulator of the L-159 fighter jet on the Hořejší Embankment, and for fans of heavy equipment there will also be a self-propelled gun howitzer DANA and an armoured vehicle TITUS on display. Army “number 5s”, i.e. pyrotechnic robots, will weave among the visitors, and military boats and pontoons will be moving on the Vltava River.
